Carey driving home from Floresville!!I know it has been awhile since I have posted. I have been pretty busy lately. My dad was in the hospital with congestive heart failure. So I was going to SA alot. He is feeling much better know and hopefully on the road to a full recovery.
But I did what to write ("brag") about Carey. She is in UIL journalism and got a 3rd place medal for her writing. Yeah!!! And, she has been recognized with the Advanced/Gifted Education Award, which qualifiys her for educational grants. We are so proud of her. Congratulations Carey!!!
And....she recently got her Drivers permit!!!! YIKES!!! Rick is her Drivers Ed teacher. Thank God. I don't think I have the patience or nerves to teach her. But Rick is great!! He let her drive from Floresville to home on the day she passed and she constantly bugs him to take her driving.

It is about time you posted something new..tell Carey congrats on all of her accomplishments, that is great. I can't believe you are letting Ricky teach her to drive, although I will have to say he is careful when he has other with him in the car. Take care and we hope to see ya'll soon.
